~ Prosperity Jar ~

Find and cleanse a jar or bottle with a lid

Materials:

1 ) 3 silver coins (don't have to be actual silver -- regular quarters, dimes etc are ok.) = like calls to like

2 ) Tree moss = adds stability to magic and helps you hang on to your wealth

3 ) Runic charm = small runic charm written out calling for "prosperity and wealth" You can use a flat stone with a symol you have painted or incribed upon it.

4 ) Cinnamon, nutmeg and clove = once costly are still used to bring wealth and invoke healthy attitudes about material concerns

5 ) Orange peel = once a costly item, still used in magic to bring prosperity and money as well as sweeten the pot

6 ) Silver and copper beads on the outside of the jar = silver is female and copper is male metal; invokes abundance and proserity of masculine and feminine conjoined and balanced (Think copper wire and silver beads)

7 ) Wax for sealing ( You can use green or gold candle wax, or purchase wax sticks, ps ~ crayons work in a pinch ;) = Once all items are placed in the jar you can seal it using melted wax from a candle or stick. Carve a prosperity symbol upon the top.

Intent: Ask for balance and just what you need. BE SPECIFIC, if you ask for "money to come to you" that penny you find on you next walk counts! Send intent into the jar and seal. Place near financial center of your home i.e. desk where you do bills etc. To add some extra power, charge your jar under the Full Moon.

~ Grow Some Cash ~

Plant an herb associated with money in a pot with silver and gold coins mixed into the dirt.

Each time you use a pinch or water it recite

"Money flows in right to me,

Three times fold so mote it be".

Prosperity Box

Materials needed:

A small box, of your choice. ( I choose a little trinket one I found at a thrift shop. It is encased in Abalone shell ( money washes in ;)

Gold and silver coins, nickels, dimes, pennies...etc

Herbs associated with prosperity, ie basil, cinnamon, mint, cloves

Green or gold candles

Green string or ribbon cut in a length multiple to 3

Gather the items, and carve the candles with a symbol of prosperity.

Light the candles

Take the ribbon and while making nine knots recite:

1st knot "KNOT OF ONE, THIS SPELLS BEGUN"

2nd knot "KNOT OF TWO MAGICKS STRONG AND TRUE"

3rd knot "KNOT OF THREE MONEY WOES NOW FLEE"

4th knot "KNOT OF FOUR RICHES TO FLOW GALORE"

5th knot "KNOT OF FIVE THIS SPELLS ALIVE"

6th knot "KNOT OF SIX MONEY COMES IN QUICK"

7th knot "KNOT OF SEVEN WITHIN THIS HOUR"

8th knot "KNOT OF EIGHT WITH MY POWER"

9th knot "KNOT OF NINE PROSPERITY IS MINE"

Place all the coins, herbs and ribbon in your box, with your wand or power (dominant) hand tap the box nine times while reciting

"With power gathered and sent within, this spell is sealed 9 times again. By three times three this spell I bind, that it be cast with the power of nine. As I will so mote it be. "

Let the candle burn completly down, and place you new box wherever you keep your wallet/bills or in the Southeast corner of your home, which is the Feng Shui spot of prosperity. I charge mine every now and then under the Full Moon, and place coins I find laying around inside.

Place a Bay Leaf in your wallet on a Thursday or Sunday during a Waxing Moon, and leave it there to protect against going broke

Get an orange and a bunch of cloves. Push the cloves into the orange all over by piercing the skin with the smaller end of the clove. Focus on prosperity while doing this, then tie a string to one of the cloves and hand the pierced up orange in a sunny window. Both oranges and cloves were once a luxury and represent wealth. Not only does it act as a money drawing charm, it smells yummo!
